X-Mas Kusudama

This is the last serial Kusudama production for our Weihnachtsmarkt für Kunst & Design, which is taking place 5./6. Dec. 2009 at Zeughaus Lindau. You are cordially invited!

Alfons Mucha

We went to Art Nouveau Artist Alfons Mucha last weekend, at the moment there is a exposition at Hypo Kunsthalle in Munich taking place. I didn't have high expectations, but I have to say it was really great.

Weekending

The perfect sunday? A sunny walk in the Isarauen area nearby Munich, a brillant view into the mountains and the last Biergarten visit before winter dawn.

Easy decorating

As you already know I like simple decorations and I like it particular. The coffee pot is from a trip to Amsterdam, the bedspring I found in my parents house and the photo is around me since years.

Silk screen sewing

After some silk screen printing in September we did some silk screen sewing last weekend. More results will follow...

Weekending with Kusudama

Last weekend in Murnau

Last weekend we went to the picturesque village Murnau, where the famous artists of "Der Blaue Reiter" spent a lot of time in the beginning of the last century. Schlossmuseum Murnau has a great exposition about Wassily Kandinsky, Gabriele Münter, Franz Marc and more of the Blaue Reiter artists. The Gabriele Münter Haus is showing the surrounding where Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky spent the years 1909 to 1914. Especially when it's nice weather, (what we unfortunately didn't have) it is a nice trip. Then it's easy to feel like if you are in North Italy.

The latest birthday present

Chutney with green tomatoes

As summer seems to leave soon we collected the last tomatoes on our balcony and made some glasses of chutney. You'll find this very tasty recipe right here.

Printing workshop

In this inspiring surrounding we had a silk screen printing workshop this weekend. And this is, what we got out of it... plenty of printings on fabric, leather and paper.
