Last weekend we went to the picturesque village Murnau, where the famous artists of "Der Blaue Reiter" spent a lot of time in the beginning of the last century. Schlossmuseum Murnau has a great exposition about Wassily Kandinsky, Gabriele Münter, Franz Marc and more of the Blaue Reiter artists. The Gabriele Münter Haus is showing the surrounding where Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky spent the years 1909 to 1914. Especially when it's nice weather, (what we unfortunately didn't have) it is a nice trip. Then it's easy to feel like if you are in North Italy.
